Three note books, 1894
Scope and Contents
The contents of the collection were presented to Lehigh University in archive boxes with a “bookplate” of the autograph Arch Johnston written over the legs of a two-humped camel with Box # ____ and on the bottom of “bookplate” label is printed Janet Johnston Housenick and William D. Housenick Memorial Foundation as identifier on seven of the boxes, the remainder just have Archibald Johnston Papers handwritten on plain labels.

Folder contains three note books 14.5 x 9 x 1.5 cm maroon leather (fragile) cover separated from spine, index tab graph pages inside cover “Rieppel was at Beth” foreign addresses: Argentina, London, Paris, etc., five name cards tucked in and two notes – one dated 1894, many foreign attachées 13.5 x 9 x 05 cm maroon leather, Bethlehem Steel Company, South Bethlehem, PA. (lists information about BSC and its officers, tucked in is membership card for Archibald Johnston as life member of Bethlehem High School Alumni Association 16.5 x 10.5 x .05 cm maroon card paper titled X’MAS PRESENTS (has water damage)
