Bixler) 1921 July 11 Hill-to-Hill Bridge Dope – awarding of contract 1921 August 1 work actually begun 1922 from William Twining (Central Railroad Company of New Jersey, Mauch Chunk, Pa) to A.E. Owen and Rollin R. Keim. Letter discusses information for Bridge 21 over Lehigh River at Bethlehem 1922 December 15 to Cramp & Co. Contractors (Philadelphia) Request for information regarding construction of bridges with statement that Keim intends to write a history of all the bridges of Bethlehem. 1922 December 27 to William M. Twining (Mauch Chunk) requesting information concerning railroad bridges over Lehigh River in Bethlehem. 1923 January 15 to Cramp & Co. (Philadelphia) again requests information as in letter of December 15, 1922. 1923 January 15 to A.A. Woodring requesting information from the County concerning the present Broad St. Bridge and Union St. Bridge both at Bethlehem, Pa. 1923 January 16 to Rollin R. Keim (Bethlehem) from Cramp & Co. (Philadelphia) replying to letter of the 15th referring Keim to the County Engineers’ Office at Northampton County. 1923 January 21 to Lehigh Coal & Navigation Co. (Philadelphia) referred by Twining concerning the original records of construction of old wooden railroad bridge across Lehigh River at Bethlehem, Pa. 1923 January 21 to William M. Twining (Mauch Chunk) acknowledging the receipt of requested information. 1923 January 25 to Rollin R. Keim (Bethlehem) from E. H. Shipman (Lehigh Coal & Navigation Co. Bethlehem) indicating glad to provide information regarding wooden bridge built 1867.

From the Collection: 2 boxes : Two scrapbooks: a black embossed leatherette measuring 32 x 28 x 1.5 cm containing newspaper articles and a brown leatherette with gold stamping measuring 30.5 x 25 x 2.5 cm containing Lehigh alumni articles, as well as a folder containing letters, and seven booklets about the City of Bethlehem’s Hill-to-Hill Bridge. There are a number of black and white photographs mostly of the Hill-to-Hill Bridge’s construction and three photos of groups of people. ; 1 linear foot
