1872 Letters from February and April
1872 February 29 from L. F. Liscom (Boston) to Lemuel Liscom
(Hinsdale). (Letter informs father that he, Frank, and wife, Dollie
(Mason), safely arrived in Boston and their residence at Cambridge &
Lynde Sts. Also tells of trip to Montreal and hope to get all the ribs up of
the Depot. Letter and envelope have letterhead of National Bridge & Iron
Works).
1872 April 1 from L. F. Liscom (Boston) to Lemuel Liscom (Hinsdale).
(Letter discusses distribution of $400 and what is due Mr. Ratting and a
deposit to L. F.’s account in the Old Brattleboro Bank or to brother
Samuel. Also concerned about taxes now that he is married. Letter and
envelope have letterhead of National Bridge & Iron Works)
