Reverse of bill is note for Cheapside Bridge.
1882 March 29 Receipt on Boston Bridge Works letterhead: Mr. L. F.
Liscom To D. H. Andrews, Dr. Shipped March 4 to Holman & Merriman
(Hinsdale, N.H.) 25 Iron Bars. Note states that “this bill was settled when
I erected Cheapside RR bridge for D.H. Andrews.”
[1882] Eight sheets of lined legal size manuscript titled Cheapside Bridge. Span #1. Double spaced and double sided list (15 pages) of inspection specifications needing repair, replacement or improvement: bad rivets, misaligned plates and angle irons, cracked gussets, blind holes to be drilled.
[1882] Pencil sketch of bridge supports on tissue paper 10 ½” x 13”. Noted are eight trusses.
