to Capt. John Girdler Barque George E. Webster Care of F. Argenti Co. San Francisco California 1852 April 22 from Marblehead My Dear Husband. Letter from Rio dated March 3 reached wife. She relates she send a letter April 9 by steamer to San Francisco. Lewis is now standing, Henry, Maria and Harry leaving old House and live with Mother Hooper, Richard Evans expected home soon, Harriet Briggs died, very cold winter, The Flying Cloud returned from India last week. Saw the Prentiss brother, Josh, and tell Prentiss his wife, child and family are well, send love to Mrs. Coombs and Capt. Hammands, saw Dr. Floto.
