From the Collection:

Lehigh Memorabilia collection contains objects, memento, artifacts, ephemera and other materials relating to the history of Lehigh University and its community. Samples in the collections inlude: inscribed baseballs, pins, buttons, trays and plaques, pennants and banners, plans and drawings, albums, diplomas, certificates, glassware and silverware, articles of clothing, cap and gown, and etc. The collection grows through the Lehigh office and department transfers and donations from the Lehigh community. Small portion of the collection is on display in Special Collections reading room in Linderman Library. Scrapbooks that were once part the Memorabilia Collections have been processed and moved to the Scrapbook Collection.

Biographical / Historical

For many years Francis Figlear worked in Lehigh’s Development Office participating in the organization of the Lehigh Alumni Reunions as reflected in this collection. He was born in 1932 and married to Peggy Ann (1930-2020).
