-- Boito, Arrigo (1842-1918) Italian composer and librettist. Original letter From Arrigo Boito to “Caro Tonnaghi” dated 29/12 – 88 at Castello di S. Giuseppe, Genoa (letter mentions his opera “Mefistofele”) (see Leoncavallo folder)
- -Davies, Fanny (1861-1934) Pianist. - Original autograph on piece of paper measuring 11.5 x 17.5 cm with notes for “Allegro” by Scarlatti signed “Souvenir of yours truly Fanny Davies September 25, 1891” (reverse signs of having been glued on to something); 10 x 5.5 cm Print of a photograph of Miss Fanny Davies by Elliott & Fry; 4 x 10 cm note on paper “Fanny Davies. B. Guernsey. Pianist of 1st rank – studied under Madm C. Schumann at Frankfurt. – a favorite with Joachim, with whom she often played in concerted music;” brown envelope with return address for Messrs. Henry Southeran Ltd. London.
-- Friml, Rudolf (1879-1972) Czech composer. Original autograph and opening bars of “Indian Love Call” dated May? 11 – 1946 on a 7 .5 x 12.5 cm card (also a holograph of same); purchase receipt from B. Altman & Co. New York No. 35629-10 in envelope with return address of C. Wilmer Wirts, M.D., Philadelphia.
-- Oliver Herford (1863-1935) American poet, illustrator and humorist. Purchase invoice from Charles Sessler dated 12/28/53 for framed autograph; on University Club Philadelphia letterhead handwritten in pencil is brief biography of Oliver Herford (no autograph)
-- Humperdink, Engelbert (1854-1921) German composer. Original autograph and opening bars of opera “Hansel and Gretel” written in pencil on a 6.5 x 12.5 cm piece of paper and purchase invoice from Charles Sessler dated 11/8/52.
-- Kruger, Wilhelm (1820-1883) German composer living in Paris. Original score for “La Primevere” dedicated to “Mademoiselle Ange Robin” “Melodre pour vous de Soprano Paroles por le Ms de Londras por Wilhelm Kruger Paris Junis 1847” (four page score is contained in a greenish grey folder titled KRUGER (Wilhelm) (compoeiteur de l’Epoque Romantique – Partition signee ??? mélodie)
-- Leoncavallo, Ruggero (1857-1919) Italian composer. Original letter from R. Leoncavallo to Egregio Sig Commendatore (Dear Sir Knight) dated 24.4.92 at 16 Via Vivajo Mercoledi (Wednesday) Purchase invoice No. 4561-13 from Charles Sessler Philadelphia for two items: Leoncavallo Musical MS and Boito ALS mentioning his opera Mefistofele. The purchase order and the letters from Boito and Leoncavallo were filed together in a folder with a large 253/4 written in blue as well as notes in pencil “Leoncavallo R Musical MS quotation with ALS = from Boito signature of N. Giordano under bar from Fedora. (No Giordano)
-- Offenbach, Jacques (1819-1880) German/French composer. Original four page musical score “Fleur qu’adore la beauté” in pencil is written autographe d’Offenbach. Purchase invoice no. B 1423 from Carnegie Book Shop dated 22 March 1961 addressed to Harold R. Pursel re: Offenbach.
