Leach from R. B. Honeyman Jr. (New York) Re: Acknowledges two previous letters and pleased that the books have a permanent home. 1929 May 30 to R. B. Honeyman (New York) from H.S. Leach (Lehigh) Re: acknowledges receipt of Pres. Hoover’s Translation of Agricola De re Metallica with Hoover autograph. Also says Lehigh has a 1556 edition of book. 1929 September 20 to Leach from Honeyman Jr. (New York) Re: a set of Smithsonian Scientific Series. 1929 September 21 to Honeyman, Jr. from Leach. Re: acknowledging the Honeyman purchase of the Smithsonian Scientific Series given to Lehigh. 1929 November 25 to Honeyman, Jr. from Leach (?) Re: Euclid with two signatures of Hatton discussion which Hatton and source as J. C. Williams library, Haebler Incunabula leaves, horseshoeing volume discussed by Voltaire. 1929 December 16 to Leach from Honeyman, Jr. acknowledging previous letter and sending a book on early astronomy, looking for Newton’s Principia and an index to the Haebler Incunabula 1930 January 6 to Leach from Honeyman, Jr. mentioning a Mr. Weyhe correspondence being enclosed with is letter. (no enclosure). 1930 January 6 to Honeyman from Leach thanking for copy of Ptholemeus Astronomie of 1509 in Latin. 1930 January 7 to Honeyman from Leach (?) saying the Haebler Incunabula lacks the introduction to the volume of West Europe but acknowledges all five volumes have been searched for missing item. 1930 February 3 to Honeyman from Leach acknowledging receipt of missing item and dedication of Library’s Treasure Room inviting him. 1930 March 19 to Honeyman from Leach acknowledging receipt of “The Acts of Parliament in the 28th year of Henry the Eighth’s Reign” printed by Thomas Berthelet before 1640. 1930 April 21 to Leach from Honeyman Re: enclosure of a leaf of William Caxton, 1482 and saying he will come for the dedication. 1930 April 23 to Honeyman from Leach acknowledging receipt of Caxton. 1931 January 22 to Leach from Honeyman notifying sending of a couple of packages of books. 1931 February 2 to Honeyman from Leach (three page letter) acknowledging receipt of books: Reinicken Fuchs, facsimiles of Shakespeare, Caxton Club, Vollbehr plate, Victoria Association with Autograph, Railroad reports, 1601 Breeches Bible, purchase of the Bruce Black library and discussed book buying.1931 May 25 to Leach from Honeyman Re: sending some manuscripts and Papers.1931 May 27 to Honeyman from Leach acknowledging receipt of Thackeray letter, Dana letter mentioning Bryant and Griswold, Maxim letter, Agassiz, Darwin and Pasteur letters, Field, Bell and Morse letters, document signed by John Flamsteed, Baring-Gould Hymn. Scopes & Co. (Albany, N.Y.) from ? acknowelges receipt of “Geographia Universalis”1931 December 1 to Honeyman from Leach acknowledges receipt of 12th Century manuscript fragment. Also says that Seymour De Rici will look at manuscript collection. (two copies)1931 December 2 to Leach from Honeyman re: small valise with some 12th Century manuscripts left at Kappa Alpha House to be delivered to Leach for the Library1931 December 21 to Honeyman from Leach informing that the manuscript fragment deals with Saint Nikolas not Pope Nikolas according to Prof. Crum which makes manuscript much earlier than 12th century. (two copies)
