1963 April 1 from Pierce to Glick re: Packer & Wilber heirs suggestion made that these heirs should consolidate their Lessor interests for quick action on the problems affecting them. Lehigh Valley Coal Co. is liquidating their coal holdings as fast as possible and selling the surface holdings whenever possible. The heirs were offered reasonable price for their holdings but have delayed taking action. Suggested a power of attorney to be drafted broad enough to cover the problems arising. Mentions that the Coxe Estate also was very convoluted but finally settled on Daniel Coxe to handle matters regarding the coal lands.
