(writes about Mary's move and hopes Mary and Jim will come and visit, can't say positively about Miss Rosa Reid- but quite sure she's one of the old generation, Grandma's grandfather was Samual Reid - Mrs. Slaton's grandfather was William Reid, and other Reids - Edmond, James, Andrew, Henry & Sidney - suppose Rosa Reid is the daughter of one of the sons, haven't kept up since I left La Grange - wish you could find out her father and grandfather name, Neel Reid had "the Family Tree"---before the Civil War they were all wealthy, aristocrats. Mrs. Slaton's mother was the only child (Sallie Fannie Reid) - is where she inherited her fortune. Also Mr. W.D. Grant was only child..lived at West Point, GA., rose bush is green…) Love, Grandma
