Scope and Contents
blank book 18 cm x 20.5 cm x 2 cm bound in black shark skin textured leather with smooth brown leather spine and corners trimmed with gold line, page edges are red marbled, pages are numbered in blue ink 1-152. Title is calligraphy in black ink “Lehigh University Christian Ass’n Building Fund Records.” First pages have in handwriting the Bylaws and Rules of the association. Page 9 begins the contribution entries of names, dates and amount. Dates of contributions run from Jan. 30, 1895 to June 11, 1898. Page 63-67 have the Building Fund Committee notes signed by Edward E. Brattow, Secretary and committee members are listed as A. E. Meaker, Messrs. Hall ’96, Stowell ’96 and Brattow ’96. Page 140 is headed June 1895 and lists names and their comments about ability to make contributions. All other pages are blank.
