Complaint that no one has had a letter from Salathés but go on to say that Rauch visited a day in South Bethlehem to see a
Mrs. Lauenroth, Bethlehem continues to go forward, the weather, the Zincwerke, the Thomas Iron company, a new English pastor arrived, also no word from the Monocacy [4p]
1856 Mai 31 R. S. & M. A. Rauch to Salathés describes fruit trees in bloom, their neighbor Goepp resigned as administrator and his replacement is Eugene Früauf, 50th year celebration of Bishop Benade, who is the first English pastor of the church [2p]
