George Richter World War II Scrapbook
Scope and Contents
A collection of newspaper clippings and other documents within a scrapbook created by the automobile mechanic George Richter of Ridgewood, NJ. This compilation of materials depicts the detailed events of World War II, the Korean War, and the emergence of the state of modern Israel. The scrapbook also includes personal materials from George Richter such as gas ration stamps and membership cards.
The newspaper articles are pasted chronologically. The scrapbook is in poor condition with the pages being quite delicate. The scrapbook’s dimensions are 11.75 x 15.5 in and it is approximately 300 pages in length.
