Biographical / Historical
Started at Cedar Crest College on September 24, 1976, The Association of Academic Women of Lehigh Valley is a loosely-knit association of women employed in area institutions of higher learning. The purpose of the association is to promote the personal and professional growth of women working in the academic community to bring together individuals to share resources, information, ideas, and concerns, to create a network of supportive academic women with particular needs and interests, and to work for expansion of employment opportunities for women in the academic world.
