Biographical / Historical
Edwin S. Stackhouse was born February 11, 1866 in Shickshinny, PA. He attended Lehigh University and graduated with a BM in 1886 and an EM in 1887. He owned and operated the E.S. Stackhouse Coal Company in Shickshinny, PA. He was a board member and the chair of Pennsylvania Library Association.
