Scope and Contents
The collection consists of Helen M. Search’s papers. The first series contains two packets from her Lehigh University commencement ceremony. The second series contains just one pamphlet which is a radio show script Helen M. Search took part in at Moravian College. The third series contains programs from Helen’s time at the Mustard and Cheese Club at Lehigh University. The fourth and last series contains newspapers, clippings, and photographs.

Biographical / Historical
Helen Search Rogens graduated from Moravian College and she earned her master’s in Education from Lehigh University. Throughout her college career as a student, Helen seemed to be involved with student drama clubs. According to the playbills and programs in the collection, she was an active member of Blackfriars of Moravian College and Lehigh’s Mustard and Cheese Drama Club. She was married to Ted Rogens, and according to Ted’s October 2010 obituary in Morning Call (Allentown, Pa.), his wife Helen Search Rogens passed away in 2002.

This collection documents Helen M. Search’s involvement with student drama activities at Lehigh University and Moravian College. Most of the collection is activity documents of the Mustard and Cheese Drama Club at Lehigh University. and similar theatrical endeavors within the school.
Materials are arranged by general subjects and then broken down further by more specific subjects under the main, topical subject.
Materials and documents obtained from Helen M. Search’s niece, Bonnie Solt Prunty.
A wrestling program from the Lehigh vs. Cornell match on December 13, 1952 has been separated from this collection because it does not appear to have a connection to Helen M. Search. She probably just kept the program after going to the match but it does not relate to this collection as a collection of Helen M. Search’s papers.
