Biographical / Historical
Monroe Jackson Rathbone, Class of 1921, was a very active alumnus of Lehigh University. Born in 1900 in West Virginia, he went on to become the CEO of Exxon Mobile Petroleum company. He also served as President of the Board of Trustees at Lehigh, and Rathbone Hall, a dining facility, was dedicated and named after him.
