Biographical / Historical
The Thomas Iron Co. was founded in 1854, and eventually had 11 blast furnaces in Pennsylvania and several mines and other property. The company was sold in 1922, and the furnaces scrapped several years later. Mr. Fackenthal, president from 1893-1913, compiled this material.
