This collection contains four blueprints numbered 2 to 5 illustrating adjustments for supplementing the Annapolis, MD water supply as of 1911. The blueprints are in general poor condition three sheets measuring 21 ½” x 29 ½” and one sheet 22” x 42”

Biographical / Historical

James H. Harlow was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers in 1896. He appears to have specialized in municipal water supply engineering. In Volume 36 (1896/97) of the Transactions of the American Society of Civil Engineers, his experience in designing for municipal water supply is published in connection with an opinion regarding a paper published about the Astoria water supply. The Annapolis Water Company is a municipal utility company.
