Scope and Contents

A collection of material written to the Treasurer's office between 1903 and 1914, including notes from the president and the board of trustees, letters concerning stocks, loans, interest payments, etc., relating to the running of the University, repayments on Williams Fund loans to students, and other miscellaneous material. The alphabetical arrangement preserves the arrangement of the original letter files.

Founded in 1865, Lehigh is a research university located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It is a coeducational, nondenominational, private university, home to more than 4,700 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students. The university offers majors and programs in four colleges: The College of Arts and Sciences, The College of Business and Economics, The College of Education and The P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science.
