Biographical / Historical Note
Charles Willard “Lefty” Marsh, Jr. (1930?-2022) was from Allentown, Pennsylvania, the son of Charles W. Marsh Sr. (1904-1971) and Annie Mae (Missbach) Marsh (1919-1999). Charles Jr. was married to Jeanne (Evans) Marsh. They had three children: Andrew M., AnneMarie Lewis and Julia E. Marsh. Charles graduated from Allen High School in 1948 and served as a corporal in the Korean War. On returning from the war he entered Lehigh University in the Class of 1960 graduating with a degree in business administration. He worked in the main office of Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 32 years in data processing. He retired in 1992 from the Information Services Department but worked another six months as a consultant. He was an avid baseball fan.
