This collection of items pertinent to the printing and book-making industry, plays, and a copper plate were donated by Morgiana Celeste Varricchio. Varricchio had worked in the printing industry and had amassed a series of pamphlets on book-related topics like paper, color, and embossing samples. This also includes a collection of copper printing plates. Also in the collection are books related to the publishing industry.

Biographical / Historical
Morgiana Celeste Varricchio is a classically-trained dancer, actor, and director. She is the founder of Mosaic Dance Theater Company, a dance troupe dedicated to performing the traditional dances of North Africa, the Middle East, and southern Europe. Before she founded Mosaic, she had a corporate career in publishing. She initially worked at Times mirror Magazines in the Book Club division and then at HarperCollins. She graduated from Lehigh University in 1973 and an MFA from Trinity University.
