Abstract

The Dravo brothers attended Lehigh University and throughout their professional careers made large donations to the school. This collection includes correspondence, business documents, and other records regarding the Dravo Family, Dravo Trust and Estates, Dravo Corporation and their relation with Lehigh University.

Content Description This collection consists primarily of photographs, and also legal documents, deeds, diplomas, certificates, publications, etc. documenting the life of Grace Swift Schnabel, widow of William Schnabel, Lehigh Class of 1931. Married in mid-life, and with no children, his will noted that after her death, Lehigh University should receive a donation for the benefit of the Libraries.
