Henry S. Jacoby Papers contains diplomas and certificates he received, drawings and illustrations for some of his books, scrapbooks about Lehigh (1872-1877), typescripts of some of his publications, and correspondence to and from the American Railway Engineering Association. The correspondence is of special to any engineer interested in the work involved in formulating a textbook or the forensics of old bridges.

nineteenth century tradition known as a common book, a personal collection of interesting
newspaper articles such as poetry, local news, obituaries, photographs, and souvenirs of
events.

Abstract
This collection depicts a pioneering field trip made in 1922 by Lehigh’s Mining Engineering department. It consists of 127 black and white photographs, one map, two letters, and three decorative album covers. Thirty of the photographs are duplicated indicating that the official photographer of the field trip made at least two sets of photographs.
