Automobile Road Maps of Europe and North America
Collection composed primarily of Alphonse Taride maps for regions of France circa 1920s and a few other vintage maps: Brentano's British Isles, Rand McNally's New England: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Canadian Maritime Provinces and Germany's Schwartzwald region. The maps reflect the era of the establishment of the automobile as a cultural symbol of freedom of the road and travel between the two World Wars.

Benjamin Franklin Fackenthal chemical analysis notebook
Benjamin Leroy Miller Papers, 1894-1944
The collection includes correspondence to (and carbons of replies from) Prof. Miller, and also includes mounted newspaper clippings, diaries and photographs of his South American trip in 1915 and diaries of his trip around the world in 1937, plus his daily personal diaries from 1891 to 1913 and from 1929 until his death in 1944.
Benjamin Lightfoot Survey Notebook
This manuscript notebook includes survey data of a road to be built between Pottsville to Shamokin (then an Indian Territory) in 18th century. It also contains detailed information on surveyor’s measurements and coordinates; descriptions of the terrain, and insight into frontier Pennsylvania and the interaction between the English settlers, militias and the native people on the Schuylkill and Susquehanna rivers of colonial Pennsylvania.

Beta Chi House Photograph Album, Circa 1950s
The collection of photographs is a nostalgic look at fraternity life in the 1950s. Possibly it was composed and presented on the occasion of the retirement of the gentleman to whom the album is dedicated – Willie Johnson. Mr. Johnson was an African American who lived on the premises of the Beta House at least until the mid 1960s employed as general factotum.
