The documents specifically indicate a family interest in the Philadelphia Water Works, the Schuylkill Navigation Company and promoting the establishment of the Schuylkill Canal.
Wilfred Eugene Vogler Correspondence on Recruitment for Sonar Research
Correspondence and other files documenting the sonar research recruitment showing how scientists had been recruited during the WWII. Vogler was the personnel director for the East Coast Division of the Anti-Submarine Warfare research at Columbia University. The collection consists of merely recruitment process; it does not include any actual research documents.
William C. Bowie Scrapbooks

The materials in the scrapbooks are not arranged chronologically throughout: Vol. 1 1891-1937; Vol 2 1919-1937; Vol. 3 1916-1937, Vol. 4 1889-1939. William C. Bowie's career in scientific research in the theory of isostasy and its application to dynamics and structural geology is reflected in these scrapbooks.
