Harold P. Thomas and Family Papers
The material here is primarily personal and includes fragmentary correspondence from Springfield, Mass., and Lehigh University, and Bethlehem, Pa., involvements. There is a great deal of material about David: his baby books, a diary of his life that his mother kept, and many formal pictures and snapshots of him, as well as Harold and Louise.

Henry Sylvester Jacoby Papers
Henry S. Jacoby Papers contains diplomas and certificates he received, drawings and illustrations for some of his books, scrapbooks about Lehigh (1872-1877), typescripts of some of his publications, and correspondence to and from the American Railway Engineering Association. The correspondence is of special to any engineer interested in the work involved in formulating a textbook or the forensics of old bridges.
Herbert C. Brown Correspondence and Other Documents, 1973-1984
This collection of correspondence and research papers deals with the research conducted by Dr. Herbert C. Brown and colleagues on the arcane argument on the “Norbornyl” question in chemistry. Among the chemistry colleagues is Professor John W. Larsen of Lehigh University. Dr. Brown was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1979 for his research on boron.

Martin Dewey Whitaker was inaugurated and installed as President of Lehigh University on October 20, 1946. The material here includes working papers, and correspondence of the committee, chaired by Prof. V. F. Larkin, which made the arrangements and copies of the 2 programs used that day.

James H. LeVan Papers (1922-1992)
The collection contains some Lehigh University class notes and syllabi, and a notebook of material as Class Correspondent for the Class of 1926. The rest of the material concerns his career in the U.S. Public Health Service. Papers he wrote, notebooks of material regarding promotions and assignments, and his retirement files, and scrapbooks are included.
Jeannette Drews Koehnke letters, 1936-1967
This collection of letters contains the experiences of ordinary people in wartime conditions. The correspondence covers a 20 year-time frame on either side of World War II. Of special interest is the correspondence regarding the Japanese invasion of China and Malaysia.
