Geology class notebook of Barron D. Berger contains geological observations about local Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania sites perhaps no longer visibly apparent. These observations and notes were probably used in Geology 6 which he took in 1935-1936 academic year.

This is the typescript first draft of Max Weston Thornburg's later book, Turkey, an Economical Appraisal. The letter/memorandum accompanying the draft indicates that Thornburg sent this first draft from Persian Gulf to Socony Oil Company's Board Director H. F. Sheets for his review. Mr. Sheets, note on the letter, passed the draft on Charles R. Wylie who was Socony Oil Company's Turkey representative for his opinion.
