Abstract
Jacob Blaustein (1892-1970) was a Lehigh University student who was a member of the class of 1913. He left prior to graduating in order to help his father run the new business, the American Oil Company, created in 1910. Blaustein eventually became an industrialist, diplomat, and philanthropist.
