Scope and Contents
The collection of newspaper articles, Lehigh student memorabilia, invitations, athletics programs and correspondence is recorded in a scrapbook measuring 30 x 24.5 x 6 cm, 99 pages very poor condition measuring 30.5 x 25 x 4 cm marbled paper over board with dark brown pebbled buckram spine and corners - exterior looks good but interior pages all separated from the spine and the paper pages chipping and crumbling.

Abstract
Four progress reports describing a little known forestry project created by Bethlehem Steel Corporation during the late 1950s and 1960s on Bethlehem’s South Mountain in order to manage the woods for construction of a research center. The project was known as the South Mountain Research Center, later named as Homer Research Laboratories. The center was established to deal with timber management and land reclamation.
