Benjamin Leroy Miller Papers, 1894-1944
The collection includes correspondence to (and carbons of replies from) Prof. Miller, and also includes mounted newspaper clippings, diaries and photographs of his South American trip in 1915 and diaries of his trip around the world in 1937, plus his daily personal diaries from 1891 to 1913 and from 1929 until his death in 1944.
Bradford Willard Correspondence and Photographs

A fascinating collection of nineteenth century published information about gold discoveries, mining, economical influence and transportation around the world. Anything anyone wanted or needed to know about gold is included in the newspaper articles glued to the pages of the scrapbook. Whoever took the time to collect the information had a very serious intent or need to know about gold.

Group of topographic maps of region of Pennsylvania and New Jersey divided by the Delaware River made by the U.S. Geological Survey from 1907 to 1946. Also includes two Urban Atlases: Allentown - Bethlehem - Easton, Pennsylvania and Chicago, Illinois. Formerly these items belonged to Lehigh University’s Geology Department or the History Department.
South American Maps
Donated by Lehigh alumnus Harvey Bassler, this is a collection of 144 maps of different areas of South America. They are arranged by Dewey Decimal number, are mostly from Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, and are in either Spanish or German.
