A Test-Casting of Metallic Zinc Explanation:
This casting of zinc metal has been passed down the faculty of the Department of Chemistry since Lehigh was launched as a University. The first Chemistry Chairman (Charles M. Wetherill, M.D.) was the cousin of Lieutenant Col. Samuel Wetherill. In today's jargon, Samuel would be called the Chief Technical Officer or the plant manager for the Zinc Works.

Abstract
This collection contains minutes of meetings, budget material, membership lists, reports of annual meetings, runs of “The Journal”, the “Zinc Sheet”, many articles, reprints. Most material falls into period 1960-1988 but includes a few items as early as 1918. The collection contains no personal or business correspondence.
