Scope and Contents
This item is a portfolio compiled by the then Assistant Professor William J. Eney and printed by Charles W. Speidel of Philadelphia to acquaint civil engineering students with the fundamentals of the various kinds of lines used in drawings and the way to draw them. Walter E. Miller is the student who used the portfolio for his course work in Civil Engineering 1. Miller was originally of the Class of 1944 but due to World War II delayed getting a BS degree until 1947.

Professor Eney taught the Civil Engineering Department’s Summer Surveying course as well as the Fall and Winter curriculum thereby accounting for the range of dates.
