Typed and signed letter from Max Weston Thornburg to Mr. H.F. Sheets, Chairman, Board of Directors Socony Vacuum Oil Company, New York, dated November 18, 1947. Thornburg asks Mr. Sheets to look at his first draft and provide some "real criticism". Thornburg also tells that this is the enlarged version of the thesis he outlined in his article in the October FORTUNE magazine (1947) and he asks Mr. Sheets not let "this get into Turkey".
