Stoneware. Scalloped outer ring dark, cream colored. Moving inward bordering edge of cream band decorative gold pattern. Bordering gold pattern is a white ring. In center of plate is picture of a basket on its side with purple violets spilling out. Above basket is months encased in circles and written in blue. The date 1917 is written and in gold lettering: Michael Bierbaum, Fresh, Meats & Provisions, 712 E. 4th St., So. Bethlehem, PA.
