This small collection contains documents related to the establishment of homeopathic medicine in America. The first homeopathic medical school was founded in Bath, Pennsylvania in 1828 and later built in 1834 in Allentown, Pennsylvania rather than the famous Hahnemann Homeopathic College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1848.

Ralph VanArnam Correspondence Collection
The majority of the collection is comprised of letters from Ralph VanArnam Lewis (1902-1977), the bulk of which were sent between 1920 and 1955. Ralph had been a professor in the d Mathematics and Astronomy Department from 1928 to 1967. Most of the letters are between Ralph and his parents and his future wife on topics like the Bethlehem area and Lehigh. The collection also includes letters written by his brother, Lewis.
Silk Ribbon Textile Sample Book
This notebook is a 135-silk ribbon collection assembled by an Allentown, Pennsylvania seamstress and milliner named Martha Miller Bander. It was likely made at the beginning of the twentieth century. The ribbons are a range of size, color, and texture.
