The following material was received from the Zinc Institute in 1991. It includes minutes of meetings, budget material, membership lists, reports of Annual Meetings, runs of “The Journal”, the “Zinc Sheet” newsletter, many articles, reprints etc., but no correspondence.

Biographical / Historical
The Zinc Institute was founded in 1919, with offices in New York City. Its purpose was to support the zinc industry. Due to declining membership, staff was reduced in 1987 and the Institute is apparently now defunct.

This collection contains minutes of meetings, budget material, membership lists, reports of annual meetings, runs of “The Journal”, the “Zinc Sheet”, many articles, reprints. Most material falls into period 1960-1988 but includes a few items as early as 1918. The collection contains no personal or business correspondence.
