This collection contains financial records, statements, ledgers, checkbooks, register of students, faculty salaries, building expenses and other materials from the administrative offices and various departments of Lehigh University, from 1866 to 1935 (not complete). Abstract Collection of art on paper, oversize photographs, prints, paintings, etc. that were originally donated to Lehigh University in frames. As a preservation procedure, most of the time the works are unframed and then properly housed in archival storage. Abstract

This collection is the original university archives that contains mostly publications of the offices, students, and alumni. The collection is shelved in the Bayer Galleria, Linderman Library, Room 342. The collection was based on a card catalog system. The Epitome, The Brown and White, Alumni Bulletin, Course Catalogs, Faculty Minutes, Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes, etc. were all originally cataloged in this system.
